Honeycomb

Here it is, three (medium) frames’ worth of honey.

Due to the lengthy drought this summer, we decided to be very conservative in our honey extraction this year.

After consolidating some supers to reduce the overall space in the hives, we found that we had three spare frames of capped honey.

So we’ll have some honey, the bees will have more, and everyone (hopefully) will survive the winter.
