Which is to say, sorry for the PDF, but read this for the sake of the Pioneering Women of Street Photography, gone but not forgotten.

[EDIT: I neglected to notice that the title of this article underwent a subtle shift between submission and publication; the correct title is “Pioneer Women in Street Photography,” which sort of makes me think of Laura Ingalls Wilder, dragging a field camera across the American frontier and surreptitiously, laboriously tin-typing prairie homesteaders as they chopped wood, churned butter, made racist remarks about the Osage while encroaching on their land, and suffered from malaria. And you know, I’d totally write that article if asked.]
